You may have seen in the media details of some new funding given to schools and early years settings to help some children called “Pupil Premium”. This is a very valuable stream of funding as settings like ours can provide a lot of extra support for eligible children to further improve their learning and opportunities.
Parents/carers who receive any of the following are entitled to Pupil Premium.
If you think you may qualify, please either ask for a form in the office or apply directly on the Somerset County Council website using this link .
I would remind you that
On Monday 1st December we held our first Forest School Day, where the children spent the entire day in our outdoor environment.
They took part in lots of activities including, den building, clay modeling, leaf craft, whittling sicks and fire pit buliding.
The children even had their afternoon naps outside all wrapped up.
We look foward to our next Forest School Day in January.
Just a little reminder that on Saturday 6th December we are holding our Christmas Fair between 10am and 1pm, we hope to see you all there.

We were very lucky last week to have a visit from George’s fire engines.
We were all excited to look at all the different parts of the fire engine, have a sit in them and even wear a fire fighters helmet.
