Forest School Day December 2014

On Monday 1st December we held our first Forest School Day, where the children spent the entire day in our outdoor environment.

They took part in lots of activities including, den building, clay modeling, leaf craft, whittling sicks and fire pit buliding.

The children even had their afternoon naps outside all wrapped up.

We look foward to our next Forest School Day in January.

Carnival Fun 2014

Today we all walked up to see the Carnival Flaots dressed in our PJ’s and Superhero outfits for Children In Need.

We looked at all the foats and stopped animals, trains, car and even Father Christmas!

We found a float with lights and music on so stopped for a dance.

Toasting Marshmellows

Last week the children were able to toast marshmellows on the campfire in the garden. These were very yummy, especially with some hot chocolate. We talked about how to stay safe near fires.

Gardening

We have been spending lots of time doing our gardening recently. We have planted out all our vegetables and we have to make sure we give them lots of water whilst it is hot.

We have even found some baby vegetables.
